I grew up in Arizona (after being brutally ripped away from Portland at the tender age of five by my parents) but my heart belongs to the PNW. Settled happily in Washington, I enjoy talking about food, taking pictures of food, convincing people to eat food, making food, and sharing lots and lots of culinary maps ā¦ of food.
Iām passionate about the intersection of food and sustainability, and I'm dedicated to exploring and sharing stories about food systems, food equity, sustainable agriculture, farm-to-table practices, and the culinary world. From the intricacies of how our food is grown and distributed to the chefs and restaurants shaping our dining experiences, I'm fascinated by the people and processes that bring delicious and responsible food to our tables.
